Description
The Soul Nebula is a majestic emission nebula located approx. 7,500 light years from Earth, in the constellation Cassiopeia. It contains several star-forming regions and young open stars clusters, mainly made of stars less than a few million years old (in comparison our Sun is 5 billion years old).
Roughly 2.5 degrees separate the Soul Nebula from another iconic object: the Heart Nebula. The two form the “Heart & Soul” complex and are physically connected by a bridge of gas.
