Description
The Rosette Nebula is a beautiful region of interstellar ionized hydrogen gas in the constellation Monoceros, approx. 5,000 light years from Earth. This is a star-forming region in which super hot stars (O-stars) produce radiation and winds that contribute to excavate the layers of dust and gas away in its core.
