Description
The Eastern Veil Nebula is a cloud of heated and ionized gas and dust in the constellation Cygnus, around 2,100 light years from Earth. The nebula is part of the larger Cygnus Loop, a supernova remnant formed roughly 10,000 years ago from the explosion of a massive star.
